New Grass is a Chicago post-hardcore trio known for their intricate, twinkly melodies, intense vocals, and aggressive bass riffs and drums.

Originally formed as Lucio's solo project in 2015, the band evolved into a full three-piece live band in 2022 with Bryan on drums and Luke on bass.

In September 2025, New Grass released their EP, 4x New Grass, recorded at Electrical Audio with Seth Engel.

Scordatura Perforations, a double EP 12" by New Grass was released by Zegema Beach Records in December 2021 as part of Lucio's original solo project.

New Grass is currently writing new music, playing, booking shows around the Midwest, and planning to record again in 2026.
